  • Karen Nicholas

Karen Nicholas is originally from New York. She moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in 2006. Karen is married to Ken and they have four children. By day she works as an accounting manager for an engineering firm. In her free time she loves quilting, cuddling with her dogs and eating her husbands cooking.

  • Lauren Clark

I was born and raised in Charlotte (or more accurately Waxhaw, NC), but have loved living in Raleigh since I moved here in 2016 to attend NC State. After college, I worked at Vintage Church for three years and then recently transitioned to go with a church plant called King’s Table. I love reading, writing, playing soccer, and hanging out with her people in the best city - Raleigh!

  • Nicky Aten

I believe there is a lot of meaning in the quote by Mahatma Gandhi that says, "Be the change you want to see in the world." My name is Nicola Aten and I am saved by grace. I reside just outside the Raleigh, NC area. I'm happily married to my best friend and soulmate who takes pleasure in spoiling our two loving Pitbulls. We have two smart and caring adult children, Abi aged 24 and Nick aged 26 years. No grandkids yet. I have been employed in the medical profession for the past twenty years and continue to enjoy my work helping others to regain their health and wellness. Spending time with family, traveling, shopping, cooking, and gardening are my favorite things to do. My recent vacation to the Tennessee mountains was one of my favorite places to visit. My family and I began attending The Point Church Apex during 2017. However, since moving we have completely enjoyed growing in our spirituality as we fellowship at The Point Church, Garner, now Oak Community Church. My desire is to make a difference with those I am blessed to meet. In doing so, I find joy in helping others achieve their potential as we seek to live a life worthy and pleasing to God.

  • Kristen Berry

Kristen has worked in a Fortune 500 company for over 25 years.  She has worked in many roles: manager, team leader, project manager, business analyst, and coach. Kristen believes that God makes all humans with a purpose, and only by receiving Jesus Christ as our Savior and surrendering to Him as our Lord can we achieve true freedom.  Apart from working full time, Kristen is pursuing a graduate certificate course in counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.  Kristen has been married for 18 years with a 15-year-old son.  Kristen likes to travel, spend time with friends over good food, and play with her two adorable dogs.
